This delicious decaffinated tea comes from the Fatichera Tea Gardens in Northern India You'll find a cup that is refreshing, mellow and fruity. Brewing hints: brew 4-5 minutes. Certified organic, Fair Trade certified and Bio-Dynamic, CO2 decaffeinated. All our decaffeinated teas are decaffeinated using the CO2 removal process. This means that carbon-dioxide is applied at high pressure to the leaves to remove the caffeine. This is a “naturally decaffeinated” process, necessary if the product is to be labeled “organic”. Non-organic methods are using Methylene chloride or Ethyl acetate, which is the chemical way of decaffeination.
